What is Local AI, and how is DABO different from cloud AI like ChatGPT?

Local AI is an AI model that runs on the company's own infrastructure. With DABO, data stays on your infrastructure instead of going to third-party servers, answers cite internal documents as sources, cost is a one-time investment or fixed rent instead of per-token fees, and it is easier to meet local data-protection laws and group policies.

Is company data ever sent outside?

No. The system runs on-premise and, once installed, can operate air-gapped. Access is controlled by RBAC, every query is recorded in an audit log, connections are encrypted with HTTPS, sensitive libraries can be encrypted with their own password, and it integrates with your existing SSO / Active Directory.

Which AI models does DABO use?

DABO uses the DABO model family in several sizes: DABO-12B, DABO-26B, DABO-27B, DABO-122B and DABO-284B / DABO-320B, chosen to fit your GPU hardware and accelerated with vLLM. The knowledge assistant uses RAG to find the right source documents before answering, and answers follow the documents and terminology each company loads into its knowledge base — no model retraining needed.

What deployment and payment models are available?

Three. CAPEX: a one-time investment and you own the whole GPU infrastructure. OPEX: DABO provides, operates and maintains the infrastructure for a fixed monthly fee. HYBRID: own the core infrastructure and rent extra GPU capacity from DABO at peak times.

Can we try it before committing?

Yes. DABO offers a Pilot from 14 days, adjusted to the size of your business. You test it on your own data without worrying about hardware; DABO handles everything.

What kinds of documents can DABO's AI assistant read?

The Document Assistant reads and searches contracts, reports, drawings and internal documents in any format (PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, scanned files with OCR…) as well as website content. Assistants can be integrated into the web, internal apps, Microsoft Teams and Zalo.

DABO AI is available now with Free, Pro, Max and Ultra plans. It installs from a single file on a machine with a GPU you already have. Free covers up to 5 users and 100 documents at no cost; Pro covers 20 users; Max 100 users; Ultra is unlimited.
